Everyone asks for a deep dive tour of Monte’s “farm” in Dallas… so we are making it happen!
Dates: March 7 & 8th, 2025. This two day field trip will cover four major projects - Tyler Station, Greenleaf, Wheatland Plaza (featuring COLLAB) and DeSoto MarketPlace. All of these projects require creativity and collaboration to come to fruition. These projects will cover hot topics that our communities are facing.
Wheatland Plaza: How do we retrofit our old suburban strip centers? What issues do they face and how to we break up space to increase value and amenities to give the community what it wants and needs?
Tyler Station & DeSoto Marketplace: What do we do with giant old buildings that face environmental issues? How do we create entrepreneurial spaces that last? What partnerships had to come together to make Tyler Station really succeed? What is the secret sauce for CoWorking spaces?
Greenleaf “Luxury Housing”: Can we add density when the zoning code is bad? How do locking doors, pool rooms and kitchenettes help to add density?
Overall: What partnerships and collaborations work in this difficult real estate environment? What does the team look like around you to become and lead a life of small scale development? What are we looking forward to?
