Gennie Gonzalez

Gennie Gonzalez is a dedicated professional with a multifaceted background in Geospatial analysis, real estate, and community development. With over 5 years of experience as a Geospatial Analyst, Gennie has honed expertise in spatial analysis and played a vital role in fostering resilient communities working on comprehensive plans, climate action plans, and community engagement projects with clients across the country. 

Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina - Asheville, along with a North Carolina Real Estate Broker License and Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Gennie combines academic knowledge with practical expertise. Actively engaged in community initiatives, Gennie serves as Secretary of Western North Carolina Realtist, advocates for responsible land use policies as an Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Representative on the Town of Clyde Planning Board, and promotes economic equity and social justice as a Board Member of Just Economics. 

Inspired by New Urbanism and incremental real estate development principles, Gennie is embarking on a new journey as an incremental developer, pursuing a single-family home conversion project aimed at creating sustainable, community-centered spaces. In her free time, she likes to dance, travel, and make friends with dogs.
